Social Media Users Group (SMUG)
Welcome to the University of New Mexico’s Social Media User Group page.
The social media world is ever-changing, as platforms come and go, and new ways of informing and engaging the student body, staff, faculty and others in the UNM community develop. The UNM Social Media User Group is a monthly meeting of the University’s social media managers and content creators focused on discussing social media “best practices” and the latest developments in social media for universities.
The meetings are listed here and are currently hosted on Zoom. Those interested in learning more about the UNM SMUG are encouraged to contact SMUG chair Sarah Carsrud at email@example.com and subscribe to our listserv on this page.
